Of course, Carlos’ only concern was whether or not his hand would be OK.
Not only was it obviously painful, but it was very hard for Carlos to remember not to pull his hand out of his stomach each day.
In the end, his hand healed up looking more like a boxing glove than a hand.
Although he is able to use it again with limited function, Carlos still faces many surgeries ahead.
And as he is not able to work, he is also struggling with how to pay for it.
If he is able to pay for it, he will have surgery to separate the fingers and start replacing the nerves.
Carlos is hoping for the best possible outcome.
